Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) has deployed road-sweeping machines in Channi Himmat as part of its ongoing efforts under the Swachh Bharat Mission to improve cleanliness and sanitation in the region.

The initiative was launched in presence of MLA Vikram Randhawa and JMC Commissioner Devansh Yadav.

Yadav underscored the significance of mechanised cleaning in maintaining public hygiene and ensuring a cleaner, healthier environment for local residents.

He emphasised that the introduction of road-sweeping machines would greatly increase the efficiency of the cleaning process and significantly reduce manual labour, in line with the broader goals of the Swachh Bharat Mission.

Vikram Randhawa said the government is committed towards enhancing civic amenities and improving sanitation standards across Jammu.
