A course on ‘Medical Laboratory Techniques’ is being organised jointly by Skill Innovation Incubation & Entrepreneurship Development Centre through its skill vertical, Institute of Human Genetics and Health Centre at the University of Jammu.

Course coordinator Dr Ankit Mahajan apprised the candidates about the framework of the course and the various techniques which shall be taught in this course. This is the second time this skill course is being run with approximately 40 students participating from various colleges of Jammu region.

During the course, students will learn the basic biochemistry laboratory techniques, including LFT, KFT, electrolyte profiling, coagulation profile, etc., and DNA diagnostic tests for diagnosis of genetic diseases.
