JAMMU, MAY 20

Rohit Kansal, Principal Secretary, Power Development Department (PDD), chaired an introductory meeting with the senior officers of PDD and JPDCL on Wednesday to review the status of the Centrally sponsored schemes, revenue realisation and related issues pertaining to Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL).

During the meeting, discussion was held on completion of languishing projects and works under the ongoing Centrally sponsored schemes, augmentation of Central workshop, strengthening of workshops, distribution network and over loaded and inadequate power distribution.

While reviewing progress on these schemes, Kansal directed the officers concerned to speed up the execution of the works for timely completion. He also asked them to remove bottlenecks, if any, so that the projects are completed at the earliest.
