In view of the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board’s (JKSSB) written examination for the posts of accounts assistant scheduled on January 28, Kathua Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Minhas chaired a meeting to finalise arrangements.

During the meeting, the DC Minhas extensively discussed the comprehensive arrangements required to ensure the seamless execution of the examination.

Officials during the meeting said 25 examination centres were being established in the district to accommodate approximately 10,000 candidates.

The meeting discussed and finalised arrangements pertaining to essential aspects such as drinking water facilities, power supply, seating arrangements, security protocols and videography procedures for the examination.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasised the importance of close coordination among all stakeholders, urging them to work together to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the examination across all centres. He also briefed officials about their roles and responsibilities in ensuring the efficient execution of the JKSSB examination throughout the district.

Key district officials, including Kathua ADC Ranjit Singh, Kathua DSP Manjeet Singh and others took part in the meeting.
