The district’s power demand stands at 100 MW, while the current transformation capacity is 60 MVA, split between the 40 MVA Kattarswami Grid and the 20 MVA NHPC Colony Grid. Efforts are underway to augment Kattarswami Grid’s capacity by 30 MVA to meet growing demand.
