Ladakh MP visits Zanskar sub-division

Lok Sabha MP Ladakh, Mohmad Haneefa Jan, conducted a tour of Zanskar sub-division in Ladakh where he inaugurated key facilities and reviewed developmental progress, officials said on Sunday.

A spokesperson said he visited Zanskar on October 18 and 19. The MP met public delegations at several villages. During his tour, the MP expressed gratitude to the people of Zanskar for their support during the Lok Sabha elections.

The public delegations presented him with memorandums outlining their demands. Jan inaugurated office- cum- residential quarters and inspected several ongoing developmental activities.

Jan on Saturday visited Government Model Degree College, Zanskar, where he inaugurated the newly constructed staff quarters.

The MP expressed satisfaction at the available learning resources and infrastructure at the college. He advised students to work hard and utilise the resources.
