A delegation of women belonging to different religious groups met Ladakh Lieutenant Governor RK Mathur here and raised various demands including 33% reservation for women in the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Councils of Leh and Kargil, an official spokesperson said.

Members of the Ladakh Buddhist Association, Anjuman Imamia, Anjuman Moin-ul-Islam and Christian Association, also said the procedure for approval of bank loans be simplified to encourage women entrepreneurs. — PTI
