Lecturers’ delegation meets Ladakh L-G Brig BD Mishra
Jammu, July 7
Ladakh Lt Governor Brig BD Mishra (retd) on Sunday asked the authorities to prioritise establishment of State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) in Ladakh.
A delegation from Lecturers Forum, Leh, led by its president, Tsering Tundup, had called on him at the Raj Bhavan. Principal Secretary, School Education, Sanjeev Khirwar was also present in the meeting. Tundup requested the L-G for establishment of SCERT in Ladakh. On the occasion, the L-G stated that teaching staff would not be asked to carry out any administrative work in the UT.
