He also shared unpublished works, including poems inspired by his travels to Ladakh.
Among the poems read during the session were “Lockdown,” “Freedom from Man,” “The Candle,” “New Hope,” “I Wait for a Peacock,” “Hello My Dear Poem,” “Krishna and Radha,” and “When I Die.”
The session encouraged active audience participation, with Jain engaging in conversations about despair, negativity and hope, drawing from personal and collective human experiences. The event became a platform for introspection and contemplation, emphasising the power of perseverance and optimism in difficult times.
Jain also revealed that his second book, currently in progress, will be a literary tribute to his experiences in Ladakh.
