A low-intensity blast took place in Pulwama district on Friday but there was no report of any damage due to the explosion, officials said here.

“Some explosive substance, suspected to be low-intensity IED, went off near the Koil crossing in Pulwama district this evening,” an official said. However, there was no loss of life or property reported in the blast, officials said. — PTI

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
