Srinagar, December 19

The police arrested a man for allegedly murdering his brother-in-law in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The body of Naveed Ahmad Lone of Neharpora, Sopore, was recovered on December 17 at Renji along the Srinagar-Baramulla highway after which the police registered a case. “During the investigation, some suspects, including the brother-in-law of deceased Abdul Rashid Rather of Takiya Tapper, were interrogated and it came to the fore that the deceased had last visited his house,” a police officer said.
