Four employees of a construction company sustained minor injuries in an attack on a bus carrying them to a project site in J&Ks Ramban district on Wednesday. The incident led to the detention of eight individuals who are currently being interrogated, according to officials.

The bus, which was en route to a tunnelling project site in Marog, was intercepted by masked assailants at Seri in the evening. The attackers boarded the vehicle and began assaulting its occupants, the officials stated.

The police quickly arrived at the scene and transported the injured employees to a nearby hospital. SSP Ramban Kulbir Singh confirmed that eight individuals have been detained for questioning regarding the assault.

Engineer Manoj Kumar from Himachal Pradesh, one of the injured workers, called for better security measures and protection while working in the area.
