A police statement said these events aimed to reinforce the values of unity, integrity and the sacrifices made for the country.
In Anantnag, J&K Police in collaboration with the district administration, organised mega Tiranga rally. The event witnessed participation from students, youth, civil society members and government officials, all waving the Tricolour with patriotic fervour.
Led by senior police and administrative officers, the rally proceeded through the main streets of Anantnag, resonating with slogans of patriotism and harmony.
A Tiranga rally was organised by police in Kulgam from Navayug tunnel to Mirbazar, Qazigund. The participants in the rally sang the national anthem, patriotic songs and waved the Tricolour.
At the end of the rally, all participants took a pledge to contribute to building a developed India, to eliminate any remnants of a colonial mindset, to uphold the unity and solidarity of the country, to fulfil their duties and responsibilities towards the nation and to honour the sacrifices of the country’s bravehearts, dedicating themselves to the progress and prosperity of the nation.
