Union Cabinet Minister for Education Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has appreciated the efforts of two Valley-based graduates of IIT-Bombay for developing an android application “Wise App” to enable online learning on 2G service.

Reacting to a news report which was published in The Tribune on August 9, Dr Nishank tweeted, “Two graduates of @iitbombay have developed an Android application “Wise App” to enable #onlinelearning on the 2G service. The application is extremely user-friendly, completely free of cost and comes without any advertisements. Kudos to the team. Thumps Up”.

Expressing his happiness over the development of user-friendly app, the Union Minister had shared the news item published in The Tribune.

“Wise App, which works on 2G, enables teachers to schedule and conduct live classes on ZOOM without the headache of having to share meeting IDs and passwords,” said Mubeen Masudi, who developed the app with Bilal Abidi. — TNS
