As parts of efforts to attract tourists from the south-eastern part of the country, travel and tour operators from J&K signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Tour and Travel Association of Andhra Pradesh (TTAA).

An official statement said the MoU was signed at a tourism promotional campaign and road show in Vijayawada organised by the J&K Tourism Department. The road show was organised in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Alliance (JKTA).

The statement said over a hundred leading travel agents and destination management companies from Andhra Pradesh attended the road show to network and create business opportunities.

Chairman, JKTA, Manzoor Ahmad Pakhtoon assured the travel agents from Vijayawada that the Valley-based tour operators and hoteliers were ready to host tourists and provide them best services and hospitality. — TNS
