Multidisciplinary research journal released at JU

The latest edition carries fourteen research papers

Prof Umesh Rai, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu, released Volume XXI of “Researcher: A Multidisciplinary Journal”, published through the university’s publication cell.

The Vice-Chancellor appreciated the efforts of the publication cell in maintaining academic rigor and consistency. He emphasised that such publications strengthen the research culture of the university and encourage faculty and scholars to pursue meaningful, interdisciplinary work.

Researcher is a bi-annual, double-blind peer-reviewed journal that provides a platform for scholars to share high-quality research across disciplines such as Science and Technology, Social Sciences, Business Studies and Humanities.

The latest edition carries fourteen research papers—three under Science and Technology, four in Social Sciences, two in Business Studies, and five in Arts and Humanities.

The publication was coordinated by Dr Shashi Prabha, Convener, Publication Cell. The release event was attended by Prof JP Singh Joorel, Dean Academic Affairs; Dr Neeraj Sharma, Registrar; Prof Namrata Sharma; Prof Komal Nagar; Dr Shashi Prabha; Dr Shallu Sehgal; and Dr Harleen Kour.

“Researcher continues to serve as a valuable academic resource, reflecting the University of Jammu’s commitment to promoting innovation, collaboration and advancement of knowledge,” a spokesperson said.
