A two day tour of Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) leader’s to the far-flung areas of Sunderbani, Kalakote, Kotranka, and Rajouri in Pir Panjal region of Jammu concluded successfully on Thursday, the party said.

According to the party, leaders engaged directly with the people to address their grievances and strengthen grassroots connections.

Led by Javed Ahmed Rana, Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest and Tribal Affairs, Rattan Lal Gupta, party’s Provincial president for Jammu, the leaders conducted a series of public meetings, visited border and far flung areas, and interacted with locals to assess and address pressing issues, the party said in a statement.

During the tour, Javed Ahmed Rana took stock of people’s issues and resolved many issues on the spot, particularly those related to water supply, forest and tribal welfare.

He assured that matters requiring administrative approvals would be taken up with priority to ensure their timely resolution. He said the Forest Rights Act will be followed in letter and spirit.
