As part of the ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ (EBSB) Jammu initiative, a visit to the iconic Balidaan Stambh was organised for the senior and junior wing NCC cadets from Bihar, Jharkhand, Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh.

The visit aimed to instil in the cadets a deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by the brave sons of the soil and to introduce them to the heroic names etched in the history of supreme sacrifice.

Army spokesperson Lt Col Suneel Bartwal said, “The cadets also displayed their public speaking abilities and took to the stage with enthusiasm, delivering impromptu speeches on a wide array of topics. ”

The National Integration Awareness Programme (NIAP) at the NCC Training Academy, Nagrota, which is an integral part of the EBSB initiative, provided a vibrant stage for the cadets from Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Bihar and Jharkhand Directorates during the EBSB Jammu 2024.
