A meeting of the Ex-Central Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association, Jammu, was held today. It was presided over by DK Chouhan, general secretary of association.

Chouhan appealed to the IG, BSF, nodal officer, Paloura camp, Jammu, DIG, CRPF, Bantalab, nodal officer, and CISF Commandant, Reasi, for opening of the canteen for paramilitary forces in J&K as families of the paramilitary personnel had been facing a lot of hardships for the last three months.

Since the Army had opened all canteens on May 17, on the same pattern the canteen of paramilitary forces, too, be opened, said Chouhan.

The delegation of the association also met the IG, BSF, regarding the demand.

They appealed to the IG, BSF, to issue instructions to the officer concerned of 42 Bn to open the Central Armed Police Canteen at R S Pura.
