Officials in the border guarding force said the security personnel opened fire at the person while he was trying to sneak into the Indian side of the border near Samba sector. The action resulted in a bullet injury to the intruder.

According to sources, upon noticing the suspicious movement of the intruder, security men challenged him. Later, the troopers fired shots, resulting in an injury to the intruder. “He was treated at the BSF dispensary initially and later handed over to police,” sources said.
