The property belongs to Farooq Ahmad Shah alias Rehmani, son of Abdul Ahad Shah, a Pakistan-based handler and resident of Onagam, Bandipora.

The police said the action has been taken in connection with a case registered at Bandipora police station.

The police said Farooq Ahmad Shah has been actively involved in facilitating and promoting militant activities in the region at the behest of his handlers in Pakistan.
