The drone, believed to have entered from the Chak Bhura post in Pakistan late on Friday, hovered over Regal village in the Ghagwal area for a few minutes before returning to the other side of the border, the officials said.

Security forces have searched the area to ensure there was no airdropping of any payload, including narcotics or weapons, they added.
