Power Grid organises walkathon to promote vigilance awareness
Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) is observing Vigilance Awareness Week till November 3, with the theme “Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity”. As part of this initiative, a walkathon was organised today for employees of the regional headquarters in Jammu to spread awareness about the importance of integrity and transparency in governance and public administration.
The walkathon was flagged off by Shafat Ahmed Wani, senior general manager (AM), Northern Region-II. Emphasising the need for collective action against corruption, Wani stated that with every citizen’s support, realising a self-reliant and integral India is possible. He also highlighted the importance of eradicating corruption to make India a leading economy globally.
