Recruiters of Mahindra First Choice Wheels Ltd and HDFC AMC Ltd visited Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) for the campus placement of students in January. The MBA students of the final year were selected by these companies after a selection process consisting of online test, group discussion and face-to-face interviews. The ICICI Bank also selected 5 interns from the MBA, pre-final year for the summer internship with stipend and pre-placement offer.

Leadership programme at IIM

A 5-day Leadership Development Programme (LDP) organised by Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Jammu, on school leadership and mentoring of principals and vice-principals affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) commenced today. Prof B S Sahay, Director IIM Jammu inaugurated the programme.

Learning programme at MAM College

The internal quality assurance cell (IQAC) of Government MAM PG College organised a six-day long Student Excellence and Learning Programme (SELP) under the Employment Skill Enhancement Scheme. National Girl Child Day celebrated

The NSS unit of Ramisht College of Education celebrated National Girl Child Day on the college premises on the theme “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao”. In this awareness programme, the NSS volunteers discussed about the rights of the girl child. They also held discussion on various atrocities and inequalities that girls were facing in their daily lives.
