In a major breakthrough against terror networks, Kishtwar Police have successfully attached the properties of seven absconding terrorists currently operating from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Pakistan.

Kishtwar SSP Javaid Iqbal Mir stated that the attachment of these properties follows meticulous investigation and intelligence inputs. Earlier, 36 terrorists from Kishtwar operating from PoK/Pakistan were declared absconders by the NIA Court, Doda. Among these, seven terrorists had their properties identified for attachment as part of the legal proceedings.

According to the police, the terrorists whose properties have been attached include Shahnawaz Ahmed, a resident of Chirool Padyarna, Bashir Ahmed Mughal of Jugna Keshwan, Gazi-ud-Din, a resident of Jugna Balna Keshwan, Sattar Din of Jugna Keshwan, Imtiyaz Ahmed of Banderna Kishtwar, Muzaffer Ahmed from Semna Colony, Zewar Kishtwar, and Javid Hussain Giri, a resident of Kundali Pochal.

ADGP, Jammu Zone, Anand Jain said properties of 29 additional absconding terrorists have been identified and the process for their attachment is underway.
