Jammu, February 23

The Punjabi Lekhak Sabha (PLS), Jammu, conducted its fortnightly literary meeting at Tagore Public Higher Secondary School, Rani Talab, Digiana. Resham Kaur Resham, a well known Punjabi poetess of J&K, presided over the meeting. Poets and writers of Punjabi attended the literary meeting and presented their creations.

Dr Monojit, president, PLS, welcomed the poets and writers.

The writers and poets presented their creations like short story by advocate Jasmeet Singhand poems. Poetry was recited by Punjabi poets like Pyasa Anjum, Devinder Singh Vishavnagrik, Dr Baljit Singh Raina, Dr Monojit, Dr Nirmal Vinod, Suraj Singh Suraj, Harbhajan Singh Upashak, Kulwant Singh Malyagar, Jang S Verman, Raahi Simbalpuria, J P Singh Azad, Bhai Gyan Singh, MS Kaamra and others. Ashok Sharma, Bhupinder Singh Raina, Mandeep Singh and Bikram Vicky also attended the programme and appriciated the works of poets and writers.
