Digital payment options are also available. The ATVMs support UPI and other digital payment modes,” the spokesperson said.

Uchit Singhal, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Railways, said, “Passengers can make cashless payments which makes transactions faster and safer. Passengers using Railway Smart Cards will receive three per cent additional value on every recharge. These machines can be used to purchase unreserved tickets as well as platform tickets.”

“Multi-language options are also provided, making ATVMs easily accessible to passengers from different regions. Passengers can purchase tickets any time as these machines will function 24 hours a day,” he said.
