The railway board will observe the ‘Cleanliness is Service’ campaign across Jammu Division from September 17 to October 2. Various activities will be organised every day across the division. On the first day of the campaign, Divisional Railway Manager Vivek Kumar administered the “cleanliness pledge” to railway employees and sanitation workers. Vivek Kumar stated, “This is a nationwide campaign, under the Swachh Bharat Mission, our collective effort to honour the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi.”
