Raina had won the Rajouri seat in 2014 when the last Assembly elections were held. Speaking at the rally, Raina said the BJP is set to create another record in J&K as it will win majority seats in the upcoming elections.

“This isn’t just my candidacy, it represents the aspirations of 1.25 lakh people of the Nowshera constituency. It is their mandate and the voice of the people. The overwhelming turnout here, reminiscent of (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi’s rallies, shows BJP’s imminent victory,” Raina said during the rally.

Raina thanked the people for their support, asserting that the massive turnout

was a promising sign for the saffron party’s prospects in the elections. “The people of Nowshera await us with even greater enthusiasm,” he added.

Speaking at the rally, Ram Madhav urged voters to support BJP for continued peace, progress, and development. He said the BJP would win at least 35 seats (out of total 43) in Jammu region.
