Jammu Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar reviewed the status of power supply in the districts of Jammu division.

MD Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL), Deputy Commissioners of the districts of Jammu division, Chief Engineer JPDCL, Chief Engineer JPTCL and sectoral and district officials concerned of Power Development Department (PDD) were present.

The Divisional Commissioner directed the officials of PDD to ensure better power supply to all regions, especially in 100 per cent smart-metered areas. He told officials to ensure minimum response time in repair and replacement of damaged transformers. Directing the officials of the Power Department to minimise power curtailments, Ramesh Kumar asked them to remove the bottlenecks in transmission and distribution network, if any.

The Divisional Commissioner took appraisal of the supply situation in all districts of the region from the DCs who apprised him on the power supply, curtailments schedules and response time in their respective districts.
