DRM Ferozepur Sanjay Sahu on Monday said six people were placed under suspension for Sunday’s train incident.

These are the station master, traffic master and point man of Kathua and loco pilot, assistant loco pilot and loco inspector of the train.

He said the engine had not been started and it came downhill.

A goods train at Kathua railway station had suddenly started running without a driver and covered 70 km before it halted at Uchhi Bassi in Punjab’s Mukerian.
