Ramesh Kumar, chief executive officer (CEO), Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB), on Sunday gave away prizes to the winners of various sports competitions at the valedictory function of the two-day sports festival for women organised by the Shrine Board at its Sports Complex at Katra as part of the celebration of International Women’s Day. J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) in collaboration with Ranjit College of Education, Kunjwani, Jammu and Ranjit Global School, Kunjwani on Sunday organised a musical programme at Sensorium Auditorium Ranjit College in connection with the celebration of International Women’s Day. Dr Meenakshi Kilam, director, directorate of quality assurance, University of Jammu (JU), was the chief guest. In her address, Dr Kilam complimented all on the occasion of International Women’s Day and appreciated cultural academy for celebrating this day with the celebrity women artistes of the region who presented songs in Punjabi, Hindi and Dogri.
