Shat Chandi Maha Yagya, organised by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board at the holy cave shrine during navratras for peace, prosperity and health of humanity, concluded on Thursday with ‘Purna Ahuti’, on the auspicious occasion of Ramanavami.

Ramesh Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board; Vivek Verma, Additional CEO; and Naresh Kumar, SDM, Bhawan; participated in the ‘Purna Ahuti’ and other religious ceremonies performed on the occasion.

The Shat Chandi Maha Yagya was telecast from 6 pm to 7 pm daily this year. Live darshans of Maa Vaishno Devi’s Pindi Roop was also arranged every day during morning and evening Aarti, which shall be continued further as per the demands of the devotees.

It is pertinent to mention that in view of the prevailing situation due to coronavirus, the yatra to the cave shrine has been suspended wef 18 March, 2020. However, Pooja, Aarti and other rituals are being performed as usual.
