Ladakh on Monday recorded six coronavirus cases, taking the total number of infected people in the UT to 472.

According to the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services, Ladakh, 393 sample reports were received from the National Centre for Disease Control, New Delhi.

“Of the total sample reports, three positive reports and 31 negative reports were of Leh. Three positive reports and 338 sample reports were of Kargil district. At least 18 samples of Kargil need re-sampling,” it said. It claimed that the condition of all 472 active cases in Ladakh was stable.

Meanwhile, District Magistrate, Leh, Sachin Kumar Vaishya has ordered de-containment of Chuschot Yokma and Chuschot Shamma villages in the district. — TNS
