Directions were issued to clear the snow from the main roads to ensure ambulances ferrying patients are not stuck. Officials were asked to clear snow on priority from roads leading to hospitals. The spokesperson said the DC visited Bemina, Batmaloo, Jehangir Chowk, Lal Chowk, Ghanta Ghar, Residency Road, Polo-view and other adjoining areas and took stock of the ongoing snow clearance measures.

“The DC also issued directions for snow clearance from inner lanes and by-lanes to make sure people do not face any inconvenience,” the spokesman added.
