Electricity poles obstructing road

Electricity poles in the middle of the road are a potential hazard. This points towards bad planning and official apathy. On the Bemina Road, nearly six electricity poles are in the middle of the road and vehicles have to either drive on their left or right. The department concerned seems to be least bothered about it. It can someday lead to a major accident.

Poor public transport

In the evening, public transport becomes scarce on the city roads. This causes hardships to those who commute in public buses. There should be more taxis on various routes to strengthen the transport system in the city and make areas accessible. The government should take up the local transport issue seriously as a majority of the population still travels in public transport. Roohi, Habba Kadal resident
