Temporary shelter for cops hassles public

A temporary shelter for traffic cops at Lal Chowk, near Akhara Building, has been set up on the footpath which not only blocks the road for pedestrians but also looks ugly. Wrong side driving poses threat

In many parts of Srinagar, like the Exhibition Road, people drive on the wrong side of one-way traffic lane which poses a risk of accidents. In the absence of traffic cops, at several places such practice goes on unabated. The authorities must act tough against such traffic violators.
