Officials from the Geology and Mining Department today sealed four stone crushers on the banks of river Ujh in Kathua district.

The officials also seized a machine of GREF, which was extracting the material within the 500-meter radius of Ujh bridge. “The three stone crushers that were operating in the Pandori area and another near Kotpunnu, both on the bank of Ujh have been sealed despite the ban in the district,” a district mining officer said.— OC
