The Crime Branch, Jammu, has produced a supplementary chargesheet against the accused in a multi-crore fraud in the Mendhar tehsil of Poonch district.

Despite heavy odds due to the lockdown, the Crime Branch carried on the investigation and produced the supplementary chargesheet against the accused, Saddam Hussain, a resident of Kalaban but at present living at Dharana Channi, Poonch, and Nazir Hussain, a resident of Dhanwan Morha, Rajouri, in record 57 days of their arrest.

Over 7,300-page chargesheet along with the lodgment certificate from the Jail Officer concerned has been produced in the court. — OC
