Srinagar: Security forces detected a suspected IED in Kupwara district on Saturday. It was later defused. Officials said the object was found along the Handwara-Baramulla road near Ganapora in Langate area. PTI

Abducted from MP, minor girl found in Ramban

Banihal: A minor abducted girl, hailing from Madhya Pradesh, was found in Ramban district. Her abductor has been arrested. It was a joint operation of the J&K police and the Madhya Pradesh police from Sangaldan area of Gool.
