Minimum temperatures continued to drop in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh on Tuesday, with Drass town of Kargil district recording -10.4º as the night’s lowest temperature.

“Weather is likely to remain dry during the next seven days across J&K and Ladakh,” an official of the MeT Department said.

Srinagar recorded 7.4º, Pahalgam -1.7º and Gulmarg -1.4º as the minimum temperatures. Leh town of Ladakh recorded -4.7º and Kargil -1.6º as the night’s lowest temperatures.

Jammu city recorded 13º, Katra 11.8º, Banihal 7º, Batote 5.9º and Bhaderwah 4.8º as the minimum temperatures. —IANS
