The police have arrested the main conspirator Rahul Sharma, who is an advocate and a resident of Bishnah, Sunil Sharma, a resident of Bhalwal in Jammu, and Tushar Kumar, also a resident of Bishnah.

Sunil and Tushar executed the plan and committed the robbery. The preliminary questioning revealed that the robbers got the idea for it from a gold robbery at Samaypur Badli in Delhi in 2023.

“At noon on February 1, two armed robbers stormed into Anand Jewelers with a sharp-edged weapon to intimidate the lone woman owner present inside the shop. By placing the weapon on her throat, they looted gold, cash and a mobile phone,” the police said.
