As the non-local workforce has started returning to the Valley with the onset of spring, the Kashmir Trade Alliance (KTA) urged the government to ensure their proper screening amid Covid threat.

Aijaz Shahdhar, KTA president, said workers, including labourers, masons and carpenters, must be screened. They usually live in crowded rented accommodations which could lead to more problems, he added. — TNS
