Various organisations today paid floral tributes to Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru on their martyrdom day.

Vishva Hindu Parishad president Leela Karan Sharma in a press note issued today said since there was prohibition on gathering of people due to Covid scare, he along with the organisation executive members paid floral tributes to the brave martyrs at the VHP office.

He said the nation bows to the supreme sacrifices of the great men, who raised voice of revolt against the British rule and faced many atrocities in upholding the integrity of the motherland.

Naveen Sudan, state convener of the Bajrang Dal, while paying tributes to the three heroes, said the youth of the nation needed to take lesson from their lives and appealed to the parents to imbibe the character of patriotism in the young generation.

In a press note issued by the Kranti Dal, its president Pritam Sharma said Bhagat Singh was of very young age when he sacrificed his life for the sake of the motherland and youngsters of today had a lot to learn from him.

The Kranti Dal appealed to the people of J&K to stay at home for fighting against the deadly pandemic of coronavirus and asked the people to follow the administration instructions. “It is very important to break the chain and stop such virus to enter the third stage,” it said.
