Two people were killed on Friday, when a truck skidded off the road and rolled down into a 250-ft gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district, officials said.

The truck that was heading for Kishtwar from Doda met with an accident near the Mahlori area, they said.

Two people, including the truck driver, were killed in the accident, the police said.

The deceased had been identified as Amir and Asif, they said.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
