The Jammu and Kashmir Rashtra Bhasha Parchar Samiti, Jammu, today held a book release function at KL Saigal Hall of the J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages. Books titled ‘Dhoop Chaon’ and ‘Prijat’ (novels) written by Chand Deepika, an eminent educator, story writer, poet and social activist were released on the occasion.

Bharat Bhushan, general secretary, conducted the programme. Prof Ashok Gupta from the Hindi Department of the University of Jammu, Richa Sharma, Subhash Sharma and Naresh Udhas presented the introductory papers on both books. — TNS
