The district police arrested two interstate smugglers and recovered 711 kg of poppy husk here today. Sources said on a tip-off a police party of the Udhampur police station, led by Inspector Vijay Singh Choudhary, SHO, laid a naka on the national highway at Jakheni. The police party stopped two trucks, bearing registration numbers JK03D 7707 and PB 32E 7299. During their search, 711 kg of poppy husk was recovered. — OC
