Former minister and Apni Party’s candidate from Vijaypur assembly constituency Manjit Singh has said that demands of people have remained unfulfilled for the past several years in J&K, especially in Vijaypur of Samba district.

“The people of Vijaypur constituency were taken back to the stone age with the constant negligence of the authorities who failed to provide even the basic amenities. The residential and business colonies are being discriminated against on the name of caste, creed and religion by the administration and they apparently act on the directions of a political party,” he said.

He said that the people have made up their minds to bring change on the ground by supporting the Apni Party, and its ideology of equitable development.

“The traditional regional and national parties have exploited the people emotionally and did nothing to fulfil their demands for decades. Unemployment has increased, development has stopped, educational system has collapsed, health sector is unable to work fully, and terrorism is on rise in Jammu region,” he said.

He said Apni Party has committed to bring change for the development and upliftment of the living standard of the people.
