Poor hygiene at SKIMS

At the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Soura, one can see hygiene is not being given priority in some wards. Attendants often complain of poor sanitation. The cleaning staff is hardly seen. The administration of the tertiary healthcare hospital should come out of their offices and make rounds of the wards to see for themselves how things are working.

Ramshackle buses

The condition of the passenger buses in Srinagar is poor. Most the buses have worn-out seats and buckled flooring. The buses are ramshackle and rickety. The government should take steps to introduce new buses and enforce laws to condemn the old ones. The old buses also add to the air pollution levels.
