Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has ordered a probe regarding death of a worker due to electric shock.

In a statement, the corporation condoled the death of a youth who got an electric shock on December 14 in Kursoo Rajbagh and later died at a nearby hospital.

He was engaged by M/s Gopikrishna Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, the turnkey contractor (TKC) of Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).

“Meanwhile, a high-level committee has been constituted by Chief Engineer (Distribution-KPDCL) to investigate the events which led to this accident,” an official said.
